The absence of J.K is explained. Rowling at Harry Potter's special

On January 1 it was premiered Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts at HBO Max. This special gathered the actors of the franchise to talk about some of their best moments in filming the films, but the author of the books, JK Rowling, was not present during this meeting, and now we already know why.

As surely you know, Rowling has been involved in different scandals due to the transphobic comments of it, to the point that not even WB Games wanted her to get involved in the development of Hogwart's Legacy, the following AAA game of the franchise. Many thought that Rowling was absent from Return to Hogwarts because of this, but apparently it was not like that.

According to sources close to the Public Relations team of ROWLING, it was a decision of it not to have participated in this special meeting, however, it has nothing to do with the previous comments about it about sex and gender of her. These sources did not want to give more details about it, so we will have to settle for a half response.

And it is that Rowling was shown on clips and photographs at Return to Hogwarts when she was involved in the production of films, as well as a few mentions. But as such she did not have a physical presence next to the rest of the cast.

Harry Potter cast reunite 20 years later - without JK Rowling Editor's note: Honestly, I think this Harry Potter special did not even need Rowling. With having the other actors participating, and listening to all the anecdotes of it, it was enough for it to be worth seeing it.
