Forspoken delayed from May to October 2022 on PS5

Forspoken, the RPG Square Enix of the Studio Luminous Productions, has been delayed.

The studio made the announcement on social networks earlier in the day, confirming that the release date has been modified. Initially planned for a launch on May 24, the game will now be released on October 11, 2022, a delay of almost five months.

As shown in the Tweet above, the studio declares that "doing things properly is extremely important for us", and will use the extra time to "focus all our efforts on game polishing". Luminous signs by thanking his fans, saying that he can not wait to "share more on Forspoken with you soon".

The game had a gameplay failure at the end of last year, and it looked a little rough on the edges.
